By placing an order with Ruffletee, you agree to the terms outlined below. We’ve established this policy to ensure a smooth and fair shopping experience for all our customers. This policy applies to the United States.

1. 30-Day Return Policy

You have up to 30 days from the day you receive your order to request a return. To be eligible, the item must be in its original condition: unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. Please make sure to have your receipt or proof of purchase handy.

Conditions Not Eligible for Return/Refund

We cannot accept returns or issue refunds for the following cases:

  • Items that show signs of use, washing, or damage not caused by a manufacturing defect.
  • Items missing original tags, packaging, or included accessories (if any).
  • Sale items, promotional items, or free gifts (unless the product is defective).
  • Requests made after the 30-day period from the delivery date.

2. Simple Return Process

To start a return, simply send an email to support@ruffletee.com with the following information:

  • Your full name and order number.
  • Proof of purchase (a screenshot of your order details).
  • The reason for the return.
  • To speed things up, please attach a video or photo of the defective or damaged product.

Once we receive your request, we will guide you through the next steps.

3. Exchanges

All exchange requests must be initiated within 30 days of the delivery date. The item must be in new, unused condition, with all original tags and packaging intact. We cannot accept exchanges for items that show any signs of use, wear and tear, or alteration.

Non-Defective Items: We also accept exchanges if you wish to swap for a different product (e.g., a different color or model). Please note that you will be responsible for the shipping costs associated with the exchange.

If you’re returning a defective product, you will not be responsible for the return shipping cost.

4. Processing Returned Goods

Once the product is returned to our warehouse, we will inspect its condition and the reason for the return:

A. Returns Due to Product Defect or Customer Preference
  • Eligible Products: If the product meets the condition requirements (unused, with tags) and is returned within the 30-day period, we will proceed with your request for a refund or exchange.
  • Ineligible Products: If the product is damaged, used, or incomplete, we will notify you. You may choose to have the item shipped back to you, and you will be responsible for the return shipping cost. If you do not respond within 14 days, the item will be disposed of at Ruffletee’s discretion.
B. Returns Due to Shipping Issues

We understand that returns sometimes happen due to factors outside your control.

  • Error by Shipping Carrier: If the order is returned due to an error by the shipping carrier (e.g., damaged in transit, delivered to the wrong address), we will send a replacement order free of charge or issue a full refund (including original shipping costs).
  • Error in Customer-Provided Address: If the order is returned because the address you provided during checkout was incorrect or undeliverable:
    • We will contact you to confirm the correct address.
    • To resend the order, you will be required to cover the second shipping cost.
    • If you choose a refund, we will refund the product’s value, but the original shipping cost will not be refunded (as the delivery service was already attempted).

5. Refunds

We’ll notify you as soon as we’ve received and inspected your returned item. If your refund is approved, the money will be automatically returned to your original payment method within 7 days.

Keep in mind that it may take some extra time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund to your account.

6. Lost or Missing Goods

If your order is lost or missing during transit, you must notify us within 15 days of the estimated delivery date.

  • We will initiate an investigation with the shipping carrier to verify the status.
  • If the order is confirmed lost, we will either send a replacement order or issue a full refund, based on your preference.
